IPL Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challenger Bangalore
The Royal Challenger Bangalore will face the Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk. Bangalore demonstrated marvelous form so far, they are favorites as the knock-out stage comes near. They have played six games so far, and have won four. Chennai is having their worst IPL run. They have lost four matches in a row.
Expected playing XI’s:
Chennai Super Kings: Vijay, Hayden, Raina, Dhoni (c), Badrinath, Morkel, Karthik, Thusara, Gony, Muralitharan, Jakati
Royal Challengers Bangalore: Pandey, Kallis, Uthappa, Pietersen, Dravid, Kohli, Boucher, Vinay Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Steyn, Kumble (c)
Chennai Super Kings:
The Aussie opener Matthew Hayden, Suresh Raina and S Badrinath are their trump cards with the bat. The bowling is totally dependent on the shoulders of Muttiah Muralitharan who has picked 11 wickets at an economy rate of 6.28. Laxmipathy Balaji and Albie Morkel both have been far too costly and have given away plenty.
However, if Chennai have to win, they will need to score more runs with the bat and put up a decent total which they can defend.
Royal Challengers Bangalore:
Anil Kumble’s side is looking distracted after their loss. The concern for RCB is their middle order batting, which is regularly failing to deliver. The openers’ are in excellent form and Orange cap holder Jacques Kallis has scored 310 runs while Manish Pandey and Robin Uthappa both are in good touch as well.
In the bowling departement Kumble, Dale Steyn, Kallis and the Praveen and Vinay Kumar all are looking good and any one can turn the game in their favor. Bangalore has the best bowling attack of the tournament without any doubt.
The two sides have faced each other twice and RCB was the winner on both occasions. So history is in favor of RCB but CSK are a very good team on paper and can prove to be fatal any time.

Monday 29th March; The Delhi Daredevils are looking to bounce back against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. A win for any team will set their IPL crusade right on trail.
Expected Playing XIs
DD: Sehwag, Warner, Gambhir (C), AB de Villiers, Jadhav, Karthik (WK), McDonald, Mishra, Sangwan, Umesh Yadav, Nannes
KKR: Gayle, Ganguly, Tiwary, Hussey, Mathews, Saha (WK), Mandeep Singh, Kartik, Dinda, Bond, Agarkar.
The Delhi Daredevils
Delhi had a compelling 17 run victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore last Thursday. Kedar Jadhav put on a dazzling innings of 50 off 29 balls and is expected to deliver this time as well.
The Aussie star David Warner’s is superb at the top of the order and is in fine touch. AB de Villiers is back in form and it must be very gratifying for the Delhi supporters.
Gautam Gambhir is likely to be in shape for the game and will lead the side.Dirk Nannes and Amit Mishra are Delhi’s key players with the ball and are having a great season. KKR have to do sound homework to build a strategy to tackle them.
The Kolkata Knight Riders
Kolkata Knight Riders had a much starved win against the Kings XI Punjab in Mohali on Saturday night. Manoj Tiwary, put on 75 runs of just 47balls and is their trump card in this game.
The performance of Chris Gayle and Captain Sourav Ganguly will be vital and can prove to be decisive. David Hussey is in the side and is a T20 star but is not looking in good touch this season. KKR is expecting him to deliver a match wining performace.
Shane Bond has proved to be a high-rated pick for the Knight Riders squad, and his speed combined with skill makes him utterly fatal for the batsmen. The side is missing Murali Kartik very much in the middle of the innings to slow down the pace. Ishant Sharma is expected to put on a good show as well.
The two sides have met three times in the IPL and Delhi has won two out of them so they hold a little edge over KKR. If the two sides can produce performances that they put on in their last games, we are in for a exciting battle with nothing to separate the two elevens.

New Zealand vs. Australia 2nd Test Match
After winning the first test of the series in Wellington, Australians are looking quite promising. They are now looking into the second test very positively. They had already taken a 1-0 lead in the 2 match series and hence they can’t lose the series.
For Australia the return of star all-rounder Shane Watson is a plus point. Watson is looking promising and was having a strong practice session in the nets of Seddon Park. Watson was out of the first test due to hip strain. But the return of Watson can be a bad news for Phillip Hughes, who can face an axe for the second test match. Hughes fired an unbeaten 86 run innings in the second innings to help Australia chase down a low target of 106 to win the first Test of the series.
New Zealand, again lacking the passion to defeat the strong Australian side. Their bowlers struggled and failed to make an impact with the new-ball. Tim Southee, star of second T20 match, failed to take a single wicket. New Zealand batting is again struggling and they must decide how to modify their batting line up. Peter Ingram failed to score runs in both innings and is under huge pressure. Kiwis are looking forward to the Kane Williamson, who can make his international test debut after being chosen in Kiwi’s squad for the upcoming second Test. Williamson was returning form a good form this summer, and is expected to replace the injured bowler Daryl Tuffey.
New Zealand has to put a real show before Australians to pull-out something fruitful of the second and last match. Now they are struggling with both batting and bowling problems. Their batsmen are failing to contribute right from the start of this tour.
On the other hand, Australians are very confident and will try their best to snatch the series 2-0.
